After Care

Congratulations on your tent/awning purchase.

We understand that you may not be familiar with how to look after your new product to get the most out of it. So we would like to give you a few tips on looking after and maintaining your product.

Protecting against the elements:

The wind, rain and sun play havok on tent material which will cause it to degrade over time. You can slow this process down by using UV and water proofing agents such as Fabsil which will vastly improve the longevity of the material.

Packing your tent:

Tents should be packed away when dry to prevent mold and rot. On the occasions that you have to put your tent away wet you should try to get it back out as soon as possible to air and dry before packing for storage. You should not leave your tent packed away wet for long periods as this will damage the waterproofing and possibly rot the material beyond repair.

Storage:

Your tent should be stored in a dry space to avoid condensation which can become trapped in the material.

If you have any further questions about your new tent please feel free to get in touch.
